Each year the Evooleum guidebook ranks the world's 100 best oils in each campaign according to objective tasting criteria. The jury is made up of top-level professionals and internationally renowned experts from countries such as Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Israel, the United States, Chile, Germany and Japan.
At OliveClub we wanted to group the best of the best and we have done so in the Evooleum Pack.
These are some of the characteristics of the oils that make up this exclusive pack:
- Castillo de Canena, Family Reserve: This magnificent picual is placed in the first place among the 100 best oils in the world. Castillo de Canena is a benchmark in extra virgin olive oils of the best quality. It is a smooth oil, with some bitterness and itchiness, but balanced and well integrated, with fresh aromas of freshly cut hay, artichoke, tomato and thyme.
- Nobility of the South, Centenarium Premium: occupying the second place, this oil of 100% picual variety differs and identifies by an immediate sensation of clean, fresh, fruity and herbaceous fragrances.
- Castillo de Canena, Royal Early: The Royal variety is the native varietal of the province of Jaén whose cultivation in the area dates back centuries and whose cultivation has suffered a drastic recession since the end of the 19th century and is on the verge of extinction . Castillo de Canena has recovered it and planted it in the family farm, offering us a very delicate and elegant oil, with a bitter almost imperceptible and a spice something more intense at the end. Harmonic.
- Quaryat: Extra virgin olive oil of the Spanish picual variety. It is a sweet oil that emphasizes the green banana, the artichoke and the tomato, with a bitterness and spicy means and a slight astringency, which enhances the harmony of this oil.
- Sale of the Baron: With award to the best coupage for its combination of the varieties hojiblanca and beaked the company Mueloliva brings us this intense oil of green olive with herbaceous notes, peppermint, almond, banana and apple peel. Reminiscent of vegetables such as tomatoes and artichokes. The mouth is sweet, slightly bitter and spicy in progression. The aftertaste is almond.
- Morellana: This monovarietal beetle awarded as the best ecological oil by the guide Evooleumse characterized by a very sweet entry, with a marked spicy and bitter artichoke medium with prevalence of the latter.
- Monte Rosso: This olive oil occupies the eighth place in the ranking. This multivitamin is notable for its intense fruity, in which the Istarska Bjelica, Leccino, Pendolino, Maurino, Ascolana and Picholine varieties are exceptionally blended. A juice definitely very special.
- Cortijo la Torre: This picual monovarietal from Jaén will remind you of green grass, leaf, peppermint and notes of citrus. An incomparable flavor.
- Zumo 2015: Finca La Gramanosa brings us this juice of picual olive, an oil with a lot of body, extremely complex in nose and mouth and with great persistence.
- Campolea: This picual Sevillian bursts to the aromatic level with an intense fruity. For starters, it is sweet and fluid with a pleasant balance between bitter and spicy.
